In fact, there are only a few things you need to know in order to form French future verbs. How do you conjugate the <strong>futur proche<\/strong>? How do you form the conjugation of the <strong>futur proche<\/strong>?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">very easy<\/span>. We take the verb <strong>aller<\/strong> (to go) in the present tense, <strong>plus <\/strong>the <strong>infinitive<\/strong> of the verb you want to conjugate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-background\" style=\"background-color:#ee97c0\"><strong>aller + infinitif<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And we conjugated the near future!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A little reminder: you still need to know the conjugation of the verb <strong>aller<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Je vais, tu vas, il va<\/em>\u2026 OK, so far, so good, <em>nous allons<\/em>, in general, students are fine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Vous allez<\/em>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OK, and for <strong>ils\/elles<\/strong> (they) ?<br>Sometimes you get surprises, even with very good students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ils vont<\/em>, <strong>ils vont!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And so for the <strong>futur proche<\/strong>. The verb <strong>aller<\/strong> + the <strong>verb in the infinitive<\/strong>, the verb that you want to conjugate, in fact, we&rsquo;ll leave it in the infinitive and we made the <strong>futur proche<\/strong>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nous allons nous coucher<\/strong> (We&rsquo;re going to bed).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Obviously\u2026 Here we have the verb <strong>se coucher<\/strong> (to lie down), <strong>reflexive verb<\/strong> that complicates the conjugation a little bit more, but not much:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Because we have the subject: <strong>nous<\/strong> (we), <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The verb <strong>aller <\/strong>(to go) in the form <strong>Nous <\/strong>(we): <strong>nous allons<\/strong> (we go).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>And then the <strong>pronoun of the pronominal verb<\/strong> (of the reflexive verb).<br>As it is the form <strong>nous<\/strong>, well the pronoun is <strong>nous<\/strong> and the infinitive: <strong>se coucher<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nous allons nous coucher<\/strong> (We are going to bed) and this structure with pronominal verbs, reflexive verbs:<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>Subject + verb <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">aller<\/span> in the present tense + the pronoun + the infinitive<\/strong><br>It&rsquo;s all the time the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, no need to&#8230; NO! Because we saw at the very beginning:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Futur <strong>simple<\/strong>,&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>futur <strong>proche<\/strong>,&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>futur <strong>ant\u00e9rieur<\/strong>,&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>pr\u00e9sent <\/strong>\u00e0 valeur de futur.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>4 futures ?!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Why the <em><strong>futur proche<\/strong><\/em> ? <strong>What for?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. French futur proche: when you speak<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>First thing:<\/strong> you have to know that it is a time which is generally used in <strong>oral<\/strong>, when you speak. <br>It is rather a time that is informal. Then it is used to express an action that is close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. French futur proche: when the action is close to happening<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Second thing:<\/strong> Look at the name: <strong>Futur proche<\/strong>! Near future! Very quickly.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>An example:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>J&rsquo;ai soif, je vais boire.<\/strong> (I am thirsty, I\u2019m going to drink.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>You saw that the action, it was very close. <strong>Je vais boire<\/strong> (I\u2019m going to drink). <strong>Futur proche !<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3.
